WorkDaddy for Klaviyo

Klaviyo is where the Retention agent lives. It reads your existing flows and performance first, then builds what is missing and rewrites what has stopped working.

Most Klaviyo accounts contain a well-built welcome flow from launch week and very little maintenance since. The Retention agent connects to your account, audits what exists, and takes over the ongoing work: building the missing lifecycle stages, tightening segments around real purchase behaviour, and revising copy, timing, and offers on a recurring schedule rather than never.

Audit before it builds

The first output is not a new flow, it is an honest inventory: which lifecycle stages exist, which are underperforming, which segments are being over-mailed, and where revenue is being left on the table. You approve what gets built from that list.

  • Flow coverage across welcome, cart, browse, post-purchase, replenishment, and win-back

  • Revenue per recipient by flow and by segment, not open rates

  • Send-pressure analysis to protect deliverability

  • Segment overlap and dead segments that no longer match behaviour

Segments from purchase behaviour

Retention builds segments on category affinity, replenishment interval, discount sensitivity, and first-order value — attributes drawn from your store data rather than generic engagement windows — and then writes materially different messages for them.

Continuous revision, with a record

Flows are re-evaluated on a schedule. When one decays, it is rewritten and the change is logged with the metric that prompted it. You can always see what was changed, when, and on what evidence.

How it works

01

Connect Klaviyo

Retention reads existing flows, templates, segments, and historical performance before proposing anything.

02

Approve the gap list

You get a ranked list of what is missing or decayed, with expected revenue impact.

03

Run and revise

Approved flows go live and are rewritten on a recurring cycle as performance data accumulates.

What you get

  • Full lifecycle coverage instead of a welcome flow and good intentions

  • Segments derived from purchase behaviour, not engagement windows

  • Copy and timing revised on a schedule, with the reason recorded

  • Deliverability protected by explicit send-pressure limits

Frequently asked questions

Will it send campaigns without approval?

Only if you enable that. The default is that new flows and rewrites are staged for review. Many merchants allow automatic revision of existing flows while keeping approval on anything new.

Can it use my existing templates and brand voice?

Yes — that is the intended mode. It learns from your past sends and works inside your templates rather than introducing a new visual language.

What about SMS?

Handled as part of the same lifecycle logic, with channel selection driven by consent status and by which channel a segment actually responds to.

Do you support other email platforms?

Klaviyo is the supported lifecycle platform today, because its data model exposes the flow and segment structure the agent needs. Others are on the roadmap.
