WorkDaddy for Google Analytics 4
GA4 records everything and explains nothing. Connecting it gives the Analyst agent the raw material to find where your funnel leaks — and to check that the data is trustworthy first.
The GA4 connection is read-only and it is the first thing most merchants should turn on, because it decides whether anything else is measurable. Analyst validates your e-commerce event setup before drawing a single conclusion, then queries the property daily to compare behaviour across devices, channels, and landing pages.
Tracking validation comes first
A large share of stores have partially broken e-commerce tracking and do not know it: a purchase event that double-fires, an add_to_cart missing on a template, a channel that arrives as direct. Analyst audits these before reporting, because acting on wrong data is worse than acting on none.
Checks view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, and purchase across templates
Detects double-firing, missing parameters, and mis-attributed channels
Flags data gaps caused by consent mode or blocked scripts
Produces the tagging changes for you to apply — it does not silently edit your property
Daily analysis instead of a dashboard habit
Once the data is trustworthy, Analyst reads it every day: which step lost the most people in absolute terms, whether it is device-specific, which landing pages carry traffic without revenue, and which campaigns are spending without converting. Findings arrive ranked by revenue impact.
Findings become work
A GA4 finding is only useful if something happens next. Page-level problems are routed to Builder, messaging problems to Retention, discoverability problems to Visibility — with the affected URLs attached so nobody has to rediscover the issue.
How it works
Grant read access
Add WorkDaddy as a viewer on your GA4 property. No write access is required.
Fix what the audit finds

Frequently asked questions
Does WorkDaddy need write access to GA4?
No. Read access is sufficient. Tracking fixes are produced as instructions or code for you to apply, so nothing changes in your property without you doing it.
Can it use Google Ads or Search Console data too?
GA4 is the connected analytics source today. Search Console signals reach the Visibility agent through GEOly AI rather than through this integration.
What about data privacy?
Analyst works with aggregated behavioural data — sessions, events, funnel steps. It does not need or request personally identifiable customer data from GA4.
Will it work if I use consent mode?
Yes, and it will tell you how much of your traffic is modelled rather than observed, so you know how much confidence to place in a given finding.
